By using Lipatu Marketplace ("we", "our", or "the platform"), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both buyers and sellers and ensure a safe, legal, and fair marketplace for all users. Lipatu operates in compliance with the Constitution of Kenya and all relevant digital commerce laws.

1. Account Creation and Usage

• Each user is allowed to register and maintain only one account. Owning or logging into multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
• Accounts must be created using accurate and verifiable personal information.
• Use of VPNs, bots, automated tools, or scripts to access or interact with the platform is strictly forbidden.
• Any attempts to hack, reverse engineer, or tamper with Lipatu's code, systems, or databases will result in permanent suspension and legal action.

2. Prohibited Content and Activities

• It is forbidden to upload, sell, promote or distribute content that includes nudity, pornography, sexually explicit material, violent content, or hateful imagery.
• The sale or advertisement of firearms, explosives, drugs, or any regulated substances is strictly prohibited.
• Users must not use Lipatu for money laundering, fraud, impersonation, scams, or any activity deemed illegal under Kenyan law.

3. Payment and Delivery

• Customers are required to make payment only after delivery, unless otherwise specified for digital goods or services.
• Lipatu is not liable for any money lost if payment is made outside the platform or in breach of these terms.
• Escrow functionality ensures funds are only released when the customer confirms receipt. Always confirm delivery via the official link shared after order placement.

4. Refunds and Plan Purchases

• Plan refunds are only issued if purchased by system error or accident. Refund requests must be submitted through a support ticket within 24 hours.
• No refunds are provided for completed and used subscriptions or after services have been rendered.

5. KYC and Withdrawals

• To protect all users and prevent fraud, sellers must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) before any withdrawal is processed.
• KYC includes uploading a clear photo of your Kenyan national ID or Passport and a matching selfie for verification.
• Users who attempt to bypass or forge identity verification will be suspended permanently.

6. Intellectual Property

All content submitted by users (product listings, images, descriptions) remains their responsibility. You agree that you have the rights to any content you upload. Lipatu reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate or in violation of our terms.

7. Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any legal disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be handled under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.

8. Breach of Terms

• Violation of these terms may result in suspension, account termination, forfeiture of any earnings, and legal prosecution.
• Lipatu reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including disabling accounts and blocking access, without prior notice.

By continuing to use this platform, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using Lipatu.
